A couple of weeks ago we were getting ready for church and Jacob had an interview with the Bishop, the primary president, and he was also saying the prayer in primary. I'm sure Jacob was overwhelmed. He informed us that he wasn't going to church. He reluctantly went to his room to get dressed. He noticed a suit coat in his closet. He asked Hiroko whose it was and she said he could have it. He was so excited and put on his Sunday clothes and got ready for church. I'm so happy that Jacob decided to have faith and that he had the desire to get baptised.
At Jacob's Baptism, many family members and friends came to support him. Grandma gave a very nice talk about baptism. We also heard a very nice talk about the Holy Ghost. Several times during the talks Jacob had a big smile on his face. When it was time for Jacob to get baptised he ran down the isle of the chapel all the way to the baptismal font. I could tell he was excited and happy he was getting baptised.
We were grateful that so many members of our family came to support Jacob on this special day. We were also surprised and happy to have Jason and Elisabeth join us.
We want to thank everyone in the family for the love, support, and examples that they have given to us and our children.
